A2 emerges in a post Covid-19 context when the interaction limits were lifted and we bring together young people from different cultures to connect with each other, hug and involve fully without any restrictions in nonformal learning activities. The mobility is initiated at the request of young people we and our partners work with and is intended to empower them to actively involve in all its stages. The young participants currently have limited experience in E+, for most of them this is the first YE, and are showing interest and curiosity about E+ opportunities and its priorities. We designed together with the young participants the current YE to respond to their needs to participate in a safe international mobility, to express their ideas, opinions and thoughts without being afraid or restricted and to interact and exchange opinions, thoughts, emotions with their peers from other cultures.
Â
The aim of this YE is to empower young people using Rhythm and Music with the powerful nonformal learning method Eco Batucada to explore the topics of inclusion & diversity and the protection of the environment. The YE takes place in Izvoare, HR, RO, and its activity days are: 8-17/04/2023.
O1. Empower the participants to explore the priorities of Erasmus+ in a nonformal learning context focused on Rhythm, Music Dance, and capacitate them to develop their 8 key competencies.
Â
O2. Improve our capacity, as well as the capacity of our partners to align to the E+ quality standards, organize quality and meaningful YEs for the young people we work with empower our staff, volunteers and collaborators to provide quality youth work.
Our mobility O1 is correlated with our accreditation Objective 1 by creating quality nonformal learning contexts for youth, especially youth facing fewer opportunities, and by empowering them to explore European values such as inclusion, diversity and solidarity and the key priorities of the E+ programme: Inclusion and diversity, Environmental sustainability, Digital transformation in the field of youth and Participation and civic engagement.
Â
Our mobility O2 is correlated with our accreditation Objective 4, our mobility contributing to the empowering of our partners to organise quality nonformal learning activities, as well as to increase our quality standards and better promote E+ opportunities and priorities. Specifically, our mobility O2 contributes also to our accreditation Objective 2 in providing an excellent learning by doing context for our and our partners’ youth workers in improving and learning new relevant activities for their daily work.

Our presentations were focused on dividing roles effectively, to ensure coordination and a clear and concise message. One Friday, we split into two groups and presented to two final-year middle school classes, striving to keep them engaged by showcasing the opportunities provided by Erasmus and what it entails. During the second part of the presentations, there was less organization than expected, but we managed to get back on track quickly with the game "Marco Polo". In conclusion, our aim was to emphasize the Erasmus+ project and what it means, how it can help you develop not only academically (for instance, by improving your English) but also how it can give you a new perspective on life. Anyone can have this opportunity. Our goal was to influence other students, just as we ourselves were influenced, and our efforts were successful.
On 28. April we made 2 presentations about our stay in Romania each for about 120 students from our school. We described to them our adventures - the Eco-batucada method, our daily schedule, what we learned etc. and played a little energizer. We told them about Erasmus+ projects, where to apply for them and what to expect. The students also got the link for the social media of Young Europe Society so they can see how these projects can look like.
