In January 2023, we embarked on an exciting collaboration through the Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership in the Field of Youth. Together with partners from France, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania, we set out on a mission: to empower youth workers by equipping them with digital collaborative tools. Our goal was to enhance the inclusion of young people facing fewer opportunities. Thanks to the generous support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, this initiative quickly became a reality.
For 20 months, we worked together to deliver a series of impactful activities designed to provide practical knowledge and tools to over 36 youth workers across our organizations. Here are some of the key milestones:
Training Course in France (May 2023): This hands-on workshop focused on āDigital Collaborative Tools in Fostering Inclusion.ā Youth workers from across the partnership gathered to learn how to use tools like Microsoft365 and other platforms to create inclusive environments for young people.
Seminar in Romania (June 2023): Titled the Digital Inclusion Club, this event allowed youth workers to dive deeper into strategies for digital inclusion and to share experiences, tools, and best practices.
Transnational Project Meetings: To ensure smooth coordination and planning, we held two transnational face-to-face meetings. The first was hosted in the Czech Republic (September 2023) and the second in Hungary (March 2024).
These initiatives collectively strengthened the digital capacities of youth workers, making them better equipped to use collaborative tools in their daily work. The focus on inclusion was centralāensuring that young people facing barriers are fully engaged and supported.
One of the standout outcomes of this project is the creation of the Digital Inclusion Club, a platform designed for youth workers to exchange ideas, debate, and store best practices. This open-access resource allows anyone to explore the results of the project and contribute to the growing conversation on digital inclusion.
