A4 emerges in a post Covid-19 context when the interaction limits were lifted and we bring together young people from different cultures to connect with each other, hug and involve fully without any restrictions in nonformal learning activities. The mobility is initiated at the request of young people who have no experience with Erasmus+. Our participants are facing fewer opportunities and are showing interest and curiosity about E+ opportunities and its priorities. We designed together with the young participants the current YE to respond to their needs to participate in a safe international mobility, to express their ideas, opinions and thoughts without being afraid or restricted and to interact and exchange opinions, thoughts, emotions with their peers from other cultures.
The aim of this YE is be an excellent introduction of all our participants aged 15-19 years old from RO and HU to Erasmus+ and empower them to discover opportunities which are now beyond their reach and imagination. The YE takes place in Izvoare, HR, RO, and its activity days are: 22-27/07/2023.
O1. Empower the participants to explore the opportunities of Erasmus+ and ESC in a nonformal learning context, and capacitate them to develop their 8 key competencies.
O2. Improve our capacity, as well as the capacity of our partners to align to the E+ quality standards, organize quality and meaningful YEs for the young people we work with empower our staff, volunteers and collaborators to provide quality youth work.
Our mobility O1 is correlated with our accreditation Objective 1 by creating quality nonformal learning contexts for youth, especially youth facing fewer opportunities, and by empowering them to explore European values such as inclusion, diversity and solidarity and the four key priorities of the E+ programme: Inclusion and diversity, Environmental sustainability, Digital transformation in the field of youth and Participation and civic engagement.
Our mobility O2 is correlated with our accreditation Objective 4, our mobility contributing to the empowering of our partners to organise quality nonformal learning activities, as well as to increase our quality standards and better promote E+ opportunities and priorities. Specifically, our mobility O2 contributes also to our accreditation Objective 2 in providing an excellent learning by doing context for our and our partners’ youth workers in improving and learning new relevant activities for their daily work.
Our project contributes to the reaching of the EU Youth Goal no. 11 Youth Organisations & European Programmes by being the very first contact with Erasmus+ for all our young participants.
Our mobility contributes a great extent to the Inclusion and Diversity priority of E+, taking into account the profile of our participants but also contributes and all the E+ priorities.
Inclusion and diversity – more than 80% of our participants are facing fewer opportunities, and we have in place measures such as consolidated mentorship and support, specialised staff, extended time for reflection and internalisation of learning outcomes.
Environmental sustainability – for this mobility we use only green transport for all participants and staff and we use an accommodation, Irgo Complex, that uses selective garbage collection, solar panels, and has in place a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle waste policy, moreover, all transport will be made with green travel.
Digital transformation – our mobility is a blended mobility with thematic and logistic preparatory activities as well as follow-up activities conducted via digital collaboration tools.
Participation and civic engagement – our participants are involved in all phases of the project, design and implement activities and explore European values and the opportunities of E+ and ESC.
