The DigitArt youth exchange held in Mezőberény, Hungary, brought together participants from Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Moldova, and Poland. This dynamic program focused on developing digital skills, promoting environmental awareness, and fostering cultural exchange. Participants, many of whom faced fewer opportunities, were empowered to explore the possibilities of digital art, including AI tools, photography, and videography, while reflecting on how art can be a powerful medium for raising awareness of green practices and environmental challenges.
As a partner of the activity Young Europe Society sent thirteen young participants and one group leader from Romania to experience this unique opportunity.
Over seven days, participants engaged in creative workshops, collaborative projects, and cultural activities. They learned to use innovative digital tools like Canva and AI-based art generators, compared traditional and digital art forms, and worked together to create impactful visual storytelling pieces. Beyond skill development, the program encouraged teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving while fostering empathy and cross-cultural communication. The vibrant mix of hands-on activities and discussions enabled participants to explore the intersection of art, technology, and sustainability, leaving them inspired to use their knowledge to promote positive change in their communities.
