Young people from rural communities often have limited access to career guidance, labour market information and opportunities to interact with employers. 'Găsește-ți Jobul!' was designed by young people together with Young Europe Society to improve career orientation, employability and youth participation.  

Needs analysis

Consultations with students, teachers and local stakeholders highlighted the need for practical career education, non-formal learning and direct dialogue with professionals and decision makers.  

The aim of the project

To empower young people from rural communities to make informed educational and career decisions while strengthening their participation in community life.  

Objectives

• Empower over 300 young people through career guidance. 

• Develop the competences of the informal youth group. 

• Strengthen cooperation between schools, employers and institutions. 

• Increase the organisational capacity of Young Europe Society.  

EU Youth Goals

The project contributes to Youth Goal 6 (Moving Rural Youth Forward), Youth Goal 7 (Quality Employment for All) and Youth Goal 9 (Space and Participation for All). 

Target Groups

Five young people from the informal group coordinate the project together with the coordinator and coach. Activities involve students aged 15–19 from partner high schools, especially those with fewer opportunities.  

Expected results

9 local events, 1 structured dialogue at Harghita Prefecture, 1 study visit to Bucharest, career guidance workshops, Calls for Action, digital resources, project website, videos and dissemination activities.
